Rubio’s Mission Call

Rjay Rubio has been called on an English-speaking LDS mission to Little Rock, Arkansas. Unfortunately, because of his (and Scottie’s) extended absence, they will no longer be associated with the band. So what does that mean for ElectroChronic? Well other than the loss of 2 (of 3) members, and a long break, nothing will change. James is working on some beats of his own, while scanning the state for some new members. If you know of anyone that has the skill, send them to ElectroChronic.com, or have them contact James through the online form. We wish Rjay the best of luck in his endeavors, and trust that he will continue to pursue music when he returns in 2 years.

Scott just had a baby! And that’s why we been lazy! Crazy it may be shady but baby, don’t blame me. Karra’s in the back sceamin’ ‘Daddys gotta change me’… Okay, but seriously.. He had a baby, so we’ve been lazy.. in getting the new song mastered. It should be done soon. Oh, I hope you like the picture. That’s how it developed. No photoshop added. I swear.

Yes, I’m pretty sure NextBigThingTour is just a show contact but who knows when Lil’ Wayne is gonna bounce into town for a last-minute, exclusive ‘getting crunk’ party, looking for some gangster-afied rappers from Orem to open for him and thousands of screaming fans at the Energy Solutions Arena. As slowly as this project has been moving, you’ll know the minute something new happens! That’s why God created Twitter. You don’t want to miss one of our big parties, do you? Hopefully soon we’ll start to pick up the pace, but writing an EP filled with raptastic gangstarific electronicy while maintaining wholesomely moral values… isn’t easy. This generation is hard to impress. Unfortunately, I say that with a heavy layer of sarcasm.

“Undeniable” Released

A new song has been added to our player. Hopefully in the next couple of days, we will have our first two songs, “Who Really Knows” and “Undeniable” listed as FREE downloads on MySpace.

We are hoping to have the recording portion of our EP done within the next 7 weeks. Scottie is having a lil’ girl and that will unfortunately just restrict more of our time. Keep in mind, this is just an estimate, but we’ll post more information as we get closer to completion.

The Return Or The Beginning?

ElectroChronic is back ladies and gentleman! Or should I say homies and white kids? I guess I could say we’re just kicking it off. Most of you haven’t heard of this lil’ project before because it never really existed for more than about 5 minutes. Not really long enough to really grab anyone’s attention. Go read about it in the ‘Bio’ link at the top of our page, but be excited. We won’t be playing a mass amount of shows, but we will every once in a while to promote the release of our CDs. These parties are going to be sick so make sure you check back so you don’t miss them. Basically we’re gonna have a huge dance party, but our rap beats are gonna kick it off. More to come. We will try and get a Myspace page up soon as well. We will let you know as more comes up.
