Rubio’s Mission Call

Rjay Rubio has been called on an English-speaking LDS mission to Little Rock, Arkansas. Unfortunately, because of his (and Scottie’s) extended absence, they will no longer be associated with the band. So what does that mean for ElectroChronic? Well other than the loss of 2 (of 3) members, and a long break, nothing will change. James is working on some beats of his own, while scanning the state for some new members. If you know of anyone that has the skill, send them to ElectroChronic.com, or have them contact James through the online form. We wish Rjay the best of luck in his endeavors, and trust that he will continue to pursue music when he returns in 2 years.

As slowly as this project has been moving, you’ll know the minute something new happens! That’s why God created Twitter. You don’t want to miss one of our big parties, do you? Hopefully soon we’ll start to pick up the pace, but writing an EP filled with raptastic gangstarific electronicy while maintaining wholesomely moral values… isn’t easy. This generation is hard to impress. Unfortunately, I say that with a heavy layer of sarcasm.

The Return Or The Beginning?

ElectroChronic is back ladies and gentleman! Or should I say homies and white kids? I guess I could say we’re just kicking it off. Most of you haven’t heard of this lil’ project before because it never really existed for more than about 5 minutes. Not really long enough to really grab anyone’s attention. Go read about it in the ‘Bio’ link at the top of our page, but be excited. We won’t be playing a mass amount of shows, but we will every once in a while to promote the release of our CDs. These parties are going to be sick so make sure you check back so you don’t miss them. Basically we’re gonna have a huge dance party, but our rap beats are gonna kick it off. More to come. We will try and get a Myspace page up soon as well. We will let you know as more comes up.
